Tips for choosing your screen size
When you are considering your screens dimension it is useful to consider the location your screen will be placed. Larger is not always ideal for tight spaces, for example if you are using your screen as wall art, you need to ensure there is enough space around the screen for it to be viewed at a distance. It is also just as important to make sure the screen is large enough so it can be viewed comfortably from a reasonable distance without needing to be upclose to see the detail. A screen placed outdoors, particularly around patios and pools will look more attractive in a larger size than an oversized screen placed in a narrow hallway.
It is also a good idea to consider the placement of nearby furniture. Your aim is to create a harmonious balance without causing the screen to be overwhelming, this is important for example when placing a screen horizontally above a couch. A screen will look best if it doesn’t extend the couch by two thirds, any longer than this and the screen will overwhelm the couch creating a visual imbalance.
